Haron Satay

Haron Satay is a long-running favourite at East Coast Lagoon Food Village, grilling skewers right by the sea breeze. The chicken, beef and mutton satay are nicely charred and come with a thick, slightly sweet peanut sauce that regulars rave about. Eating them at a table overlooking the beach, with smoke drifting off the grills, is part of the appeal. It's halal and best in the evening, ideally after a stroll or cycle along East Coast Park. Order by the dozen with ketupat and a sugarcane juice.
