Snow Flakes (雪花飞)

Founded by the Chow family from a 1950s pushcart, Snow Flakes (Xue Hua Fei) is one of three veteran dessert stalls in Chinatown Complex with multi-generational fans. The ice kachang is finely shaved and piled high over red beans, jelly and sweetcorn, with an especially well-loved gula melaka version. It's cheap, generous and unpretentious, a refreshing break from sightseeing in Chinatown. Order the gula melaka ice kachang and eat it before it melts in the heat.
