Combat Durian

Around for more than 50 years, Combat Durian is a household name for central Singapore, with owner Mr Ang still picking and opening durians himself well into his seventies. He's known for his own Mao Shan Wang grade he calls 'Wang Zhong Wang' and prizes consistency and honest grading. You can eat on the spot at the Rangoon Road stall or pack it to go. Come in season (roughly June–September), tell him your preference for bitter or sweet, and trust his pick.
