The boldest of the Mandai Wildlife Reserve's parks, Rainforest Wild Adventure (which opened in 2025 as Rainforest Wild Asia) tears up the zoo rulebook: instead of looking at animals, you climb, clamber and abseil through their world. Eight immersive zones recreate an Asian rainforest from the soaring canopy down to cave chambers modelled on Borneo's Mulu Caves, with optional rope courses, free-climbing walls and a treetop adventure trail woven in. Along the way you'll meet some 36 species — Francois' langurs, Malayan sun bears and the critically endangered Philippine spotted deer — in naturalistic, often barrier-light habitats. It's part wildlife park, part adventure playground, and the most physical of the Mandai attractions. Wear good shoes and book the adventure add-ons ahead.
