The world's first safari park built for the night, this Mandai attraction opens only after dark, when 900-plus animals across seven geographical zones come to life under soft, moon-like lighting. Glide silently through the reserve on the open-sided tram — narrated as you pass rhinos, lions, tapirs and herds of deer roaming barrier-free habitats — then explore four walking trails on foot to meet flying squirrels, pangolins and leopards up close. The lively Creatures of the Night show and a tribal-themed dining village round out the evening. It's atmospheric, a little theatrical and a firm family favourite. Book a timed entry, wear mosquito repellent, and don't use flash photography.
