Gardens by the Bay

Singapore's most-visited attraction sprawls across 101 hectares of reclaimed land beside Marina Bay — a bold statement of the city's 'City in a Garden' vision. Its icons are the Supertrees: 25-to-50-metre vertical gardens clad in over 160,000 plants, linked by the aerial OCBC Skyway and crowned each evening by the free Garden Rhapsody light-and-sound show. Two cooled conservatories anchor the park — the Flower Dome, the world's largest glass greenhouse, cycles through seasonal blooms, while the Cloud Forest wraps a 35-metre indoor mountain and waterfall in perpetual mist. Beyond them lie themed gardens, a children's water-play zone and the whimsical Floral Fantasy. Come in the late afternoon to beat the heat, then linger as the Supertrees light up after dark.
