Reopened in 2025 on the site of the former S.E.A. Aquarium and now three times larger, the Singapore Oceanarium has grown from a single aquarium into a sprawling ocean-science attraction with 22 themed zones. You journey from the deep past — the prehistoric 'Ancient Waters', where extinct sea creatures swim again — to a future-facing finale about ocean conservation, by way of more than 100,000 marine animals. Showstoppers include the mesmerising moon-jelly kreisel of 'Ocean Wonders' and a vast oceanic tank patrolled by sharks and rays. Backed by a research partnership with NUS, it leans more educational than its predecessor. It's indoors and air-conditioned — a perfect rainy-day or midday option, and easily combined with the rest of Sentosa.
