Out east beside the Downtown East complex in Pasir Ris, Wild Wild Wet is one of Singapore's largest water parks and a perennial local favourite. Its line-up runs from gentle to genuinely scary: float the lazy Shiok River or bob in the wave pool, then graduate to the Ular-Lah tube slide, the four-person Royal Flush, and the infamous Free Fall — a near-vertical drop that briefly turns your stomach inside out. There's a dedicated kids' water playground and plenty of poolside loungers. It's cheaper and more laid-back than the Sentosa parks, and easy to combine with the eateries and arcades of Downtown East. Bring a towel, water shoes and sunscreen; weekends get busy.
