Singapore's first museum made expressly for young children, this bright, hands-on space is designed for under-12s to learn entirely through play. Across themed galleries they can clamber, build, dress up and tinker their way through Singapore's culture, nature and history — from a make-believe trading port to a mangrove crawl-through. Everything is tactile and within little arms' reach, and there's a dedicated zone for the youngest toddlers. Admission is by timed session, so book online in advance, especially at weekends and during school holidays. Housed in a heritage building on Coleman Street, it pairs neatly with the National Museum and the Civic District's other family-friendly stops on a rainy day.
